Inspired by Bulgarian music from the 2010s, I wanted to experiment with picture and video in a more unconventional way for me. The song I chose, “Kakto Predi” (Like Before) by Toni, talks about human growth and progression and the nostalgia one might feel towards a past version of their lover. By using the flower blooming, I wanted to express how fast we change as humans and how in order to bloom, we always start from a shriveled state.
